    Yes ,hi. I bought the iridium plugs which seems to help with an irratic spark. The old plugs were ngk dr8es, iridiums are ngk dr8eix.     Hi all, I have both NGK resister plugs (5k) and plug caps (5k) and this looks like too much on the spark as I have to set a small gap. I want to drop one of the resisters on each plug but do not want to replace my iridium plugs so looking for a set of recommended plug caps for this model...

    Sounds like either your coil packs, or as it is all 4 cylinders, maybe you have a bad earth or bad 12v feed to the coils.

    I assume that the idle screw on number 2 is fully off?. Another thought is that they may be catching due to being misaligned. Try loosening the butterfly screws now they are bolted together to see if they self align and shut. Don't for get the thread lock.

    What process did you follow to bench sync? What happens if you back off the idle?, force throttle off? You may have too much air somewhere. Leak or one of the butterflies may be letting too much air in the venturi to such up too much fuel.
