Primary drive sprocket

Has anybody ever heard of one primary chain jumping a tooth????

The rubber dampers are broke inside, you will need to find a different primary drive sprocket assembly...also new primaries as they have been stressed by the uneven pulling of the chains. If you would have ridden it much longer you would have broken the primary chains and possible put a hole in the case.

And what that engine is so well known for..............................why they detuned the later year ones, to stop all the warranty chain breakage from the hotrodders.

I have replaced the driven sprocket.....waiting on the chains....
I did notice that the clutch basket is different than my 75 cb750.
This one is a 78 super sport. The 75 is pressed in while this one has a c clip.
