I would like to share something new we made for all CB enthusiasts...
Cast Iron brake discs - drilled or plain by RPE Racing in OZ
Honda fours have lousy braking performance. The main reason is the poor grade stainless Steel used by Honda for the original brake discs.
These discs solve that, being that cast Iron has a much higher friction coefficient producing better braking with the same lever effort.
Every Honda four race bike uses cast Iron discs for this very reason. But they also help a lot on road bikes.
These can be installed by removing the rivets and either insert a 6mm helicoil in the hub or tap the holes for an 8mm (button head). We can do this for an additional cost.
