Hi all, you guys in the States seem to mention Pine Sol for cleaning carbs, does anyone know what the UK equivalent is please?
I’m going to strip mine right down for a proper clean & want to soak each individual carb .
Cheers Windy

Pinesol is deadly stuff and can easily ruin carbs misused, most begin that by leaving parts in too long. New stuff is 10 minute max only FYI and expect any plating on parts to be eaten doing it. It removes like cadmium and gold irridite platings (choke plates) and likely more. It will begin to eat aluminum if left in long enough.

Thanks amc, don’t think I’ll bother with that then. As it happens I’ve bought a nearly new 6ltr ultrasonic cleaner today off eBay (bargain at £48.50) .
What do you guys recommend I add to the water in it, to aid carb cleaning? Any advice/experiences?
Cheers Windy
