Hi guys,

New to the forum.

Wanted to ask a short question regarding a CB750 Sevenfifty I bought this week.

It's a 96 SevenFifty (the one with the 180 km/h speedo, as oposed to the 240 km/h one).

The bike seems to have some sort of electrical problem that prevents the batery from charging - I'd guess something with the alternator or regulator rectifier.

Whenever I put a new battery, it starts right away, but the battery will soon drain after driving with lights on, or after a few starts.

I noticed the bike doesn't have a real pull and I feel a certain loss of power when accelerating - doesn't do much justice to the 750cc and quite a bit slower from my CB500 Twin.

I'd love to hear a few suggestions from forum members.

I'm really hoping this is somehow linked to the electricity problems. =)

If doing that right when the battery is charged then something is most certainly wrong with engine as that one should feel like 3 CB500s are under you.

Of course, if simply charging a dead battery the issue might be that, the battery running back down in seconds.
