Advised Upgrades while restoring 71 cb750?

Are there upgrades that are recommended when restoring? I'm doing the cafe/brat shuffle. As a 71 xs650 owner things like swing arm bushings and steering bearing were listed as no brainers to attack right away. To state the obvious..Being a 750 owner for only a week this bike is certainly no Yamaha. Any advice will be well received.

Are you rebuilding the motor? Some stuff I recommend doing while inside. Nothing really needed as far as the bike except maybe some progressive springs in the forks and some good rear shocks.

Not if I don't have too. Waiting on keys to be made before I can really access.
