New guy to the forum, I joined while helping a friend get his barn find 750 super sport back on the road, he traded a old Schwinn bicycle for it. After putting in a lot of hours on it, he turned around and sold it ! Anyway , here is some of the bikes in my stable, long time bike mechanic having graduated from AMI back in the late 70's then working at a Jap dealership for 10 years, Ah....the good ol' days of bikes, before everything got wrapped in plastic ! ............................Tony
Found an old Polaroid of my 79 CB750 and scanned it. It's actually in pretty good shape considering I had just endo'd it at near 100mph. I had the good sense to be wearing full riding gear and to separate myself from the vehicle during flight. I only suffered a bruised and swollen left knee. If you look close you can see the missing and rapidly disassembled parts.
Just picked up an '82 Magna with 30k miles, runs but won't idle. I think it was a good price at $300 so I'm saving it for a future project bike. I'm thinking maybe a brat or bobber this time.
Here's both of my babies. We had such a good time together but now unfortunately it's time to separate. These girls are on sale currently since I'm planning to buy a commercial property in Tenerife. Yes it's breaking my heart like hell but I have to secure my future somehow. Contact me if you are interested!
I just finished this '78 GL1000 fencerow rescue. I call it Johnny 5, because it is my fifth GL1000 (if you count the junker I bought last year for parts). Plenty of PO issues, but I'm pretty pleased how it turned out. Before and after photos:
Hi Pete, great collection.
I have a 1980 CB750c which I am working on.
I want to add megaphone style silencer / muffler as you have on the 2 Hondas.
Can you tell me the manufacturer or any other details you have?
Much appreciated.
Kato.
My Stable, includes 2015 HD Ultra Limited, Late 1984 HD FXRP, and the Honda Chopper unsure what years it is. Its in terrible shape. whoever built it did not know how to weld very well.
