1976 CB 750 SS Street Tracker Build

That's kind of inspirational, I want to go for a more DS look with my 82 cb750f/ss, a little extra travel at both ends. unfortunately I can't go the high buck route, you're very lucky to have family in the business, I keep thinking about a career change, just don't think it's feasible at this...

    1980 "sl750"

Nice!! Any info on the build laying around, I've got an 82 cb750f/ss I'd like to go the same route with. Did you use the stock front end or something else? How do you like it so far? I'll bet it rips on dirt roads! ANY info is appreciated, THANKS!!!

    CB750 or 900??

I know you can use the 900 cams in the 750, I'd call Ferracci in Pa, they don't do Hondas any longer, but he was THE man back in the day. The # is 1-888-FERRACCI, I'm sure SOMEONE will know, hrs. are 9-6 eastern Tues-Fri, 9-3 Sat. GOOD LUCK, either is an awesome ride. I weigh 250 and my...

    4 into 4?

I don't think they're made, try coneengineering.com, if you know someone that'll weld it up, they have AWESOME parts to make WHATEVER you want for an exhaust. I'm thinking about a 4/2 for my 82 750f/ss that'd come around the round parts on both sides, too tired to think of parts names, and back...

1972 Honda CB750 With RPM Limiter .....Video

It sounds like you're not letting it rev high enough, it wants to go HIGHER, mine will hit 10k easy. Set it up higher with the rev limiter. Your jetting is probably off too, with the open pipe. Get those two fixed and I think she'll scream.

Four into two right side exhaust.

If you really want 4:2 on the right check out Megs Engineering, they have the parts you'll need, looks like good stuff too.

New to bikes, looking for help

Check out Dime City Cycles, they have some cool stuff. Too grainy to tell the year. If you stick with the factory tank it'll be easier. Do a carb swap so you can run pods, they run like crap with the factory carbs and pods, so they say, I've avoided them because everyone says it's a PITA to get...

Just snagged an 82 CB750F, have some ?s

check with Buchanan's spoke and rim in Azusa, Ca. I'm starting on my 82, I think I'm just going to powdercoat the Comstars. I'm going more of a dualsport direction with mine though, I like the dirt roads too much for just a street build. I'm also making my own exhaust, check out Megs...

    Change the look

Anyone can and does do cafes. Take two shots of tequila and let your creative juices flow, it worked for me. I have an 82 cb750f/ss that I'm scramblin', I don't like one trick ponies, that's why I've never had a Hardley-Davidson. Plus I live for dirt! I found coneengineering for pieces to...

    Rust on startor

I just cleaned mine up today with emery cloth and sprayed wd40 on it to keep it from rusting while I finish the rest of it. So long as the rotor tests above 4.0 ohms I wouldn't worry, especially if you don't have a charging problem. If it ain't broke ... ya know.

1991 cb750 wont start , several electrical issues

Great diagrams, didn't dive into mine, did save it though, thanks. I recently found bikebarn.com, my 1st order bit here correct and in good time. Brenda is a BIG help! I don't know if vintagecb750.com will have a new harness for yours, mine it's $90 bucks. Were I you I'd start with a new...

    '80 cb750k Charging system troubles

I was going to say check between the rings on the rotor. Check out bikeboneyard.com, I just bought a stator cover from them, $35. Most wanted 40-70, I'd use them again in a heartbeat. On our bikes it's a common problem, charging system that is. I found out on here that if your...

    Stator Troubles

I think read the rotor should show 4-4.5, much lower and the rotor is bad. I know if the stator goes it'll fry the reg/rectifier. I only found that out because of this forum, my mechanic didn't even mention that fact to me over the 5 yrs that I put a new regulator/rectifier in EVERY year...

    Henry abe 4-1 airbox

pods I think I heard there's a way to rt. the vacuum hoses to make the engine think you still have airbox on. Not sure where I heard it though.

Fixing up my 1981 Honda CB750F Super sport

Do you have pod setup, or factory airbox? I've heard the pods are finicky, most seem to run the airbox with an aftermarket filter element. Do you have factory exhaust or headers? Headers usually need to be rejetted. Good luck, I'm starting onn my 82 this weekend. New stator 1st, I know it...

    Can It Be Done?

dualsport? I'm about to DS my 82 cb750f/ss, I think the forks from an xr650l fit. Go on allballsracing.com, they have a huge chart for what has the same bearings. If it has a different length steering stem it might not be feasible. I'm trying to find a monoshock swingarm for it, I want about...

    CB750F - been standing for 12 years

Change oil, check brake pads/flush fluid, new steering head bearings, new swingarm bushing, possibly rebuild calipers (could hang up after so much time). Clean ALL of the crap from around the plug holes, take them out and put some wd40 in there and wait a few days, just to be safe, don't want...

Bout to buy a CB750, need some input on known issues.

Reg/rec around 100, stator about 140, they sell new harnesses for under 200, depends on what you want. It could just be the ignition switch, in addition the reg/rec&stator. I love my 82, I'm getting ready to throw a bucket of money at her, most of the work will be done by me though, if you do...

    Possible First Motorcycle?

For that it better be PERFECT, I paid 800 for my 82 about 8 yrs ago. Keep looking, they're a great bike, reliable with a couple exceptions, plenty of power, just go easy until you get use to her. Mine will lift the front end and I weigh 240, so like I said, go easy, and PLEASE take an MSF...
