Hey guys, I know there may be know real answer but any ideas where I should set my needle, I have cycle x 850 kit, running stock air box. This is where my needle was set when I took my carbs apart.

I am just wondering if this less then perfect choke adjustment is ok, when I close the choke lever all carbs except number 3 there as you can see does not close ALL the way. I adjusted both sides with the screw linkages and this was the best position I could get. Should be ok I would think?

I have a cycle x 850 kit, 65.5mm right? My bike already has been bored to 65mm (836 kit) the guy from the shop called and said there would only be 40though left on the wall, he said hes never went less then 60though and he said it would be hard to hone once it's that thin. Isn't the cycle x kit...

Hey guy's my bike is about to go back together and these headlight nut/wires had some sort of rubber or calking around them, it may have just been to absorb headlight vibration from the headlight bracket? or do they need to be insulated and that is why the rubber was on there? I cleaned them all...

My dad has an 80 custom, he has a voltmeter installed and is getting 15.1v reading anytime he is on the throttle after 2000rpm. At idle it is fairly normal around 12.5. Any ideas ? Thanks guys

Hi guys, I am putting a 74 engine in my 78 chassis and using the 78 wheels. I can only run 530 chain as I believe the 74 engine sprocket only comes in 530, now my 78 rear wheel is 630 size. How do I go about finding a 530 rear sprocket that will fit the 78 wheel AND LINE UP!??! Help much...

Is it possible for me to replace cracked rubber line shown in red here without dismantling the carbs? I dry ice blasted the carbs at work and they cleaned up well. Planning to rebuild with new float gaskets and jets but what about this rubber line? I do not want to pull everything apart...

Hi guys i have a 74 hasnt run in decades. Dropped the drain plug and filter and drained the oil. When i filled up the oil tank it just sat in the tank, its not going to the bottom end. I even cranked the engine over a few times. I pulled the oil lines off and they are not clogged? Whys this...
