1980 CB750F Carb question

Please don't BAN me for asking.

Is it possible to purchase a NEW accelerator pump housing for this bike ?? I'm asking about the part with the check valve.

Not sure about new but there is lots of used ones around. Did you lose the ball and spring out of it by chance?

No I was afraid to try getting the ball and spring out. Thought I would never get it back together. It was stuck but I got it freed up using an ultrasonic cleaner. I have not put it back on the bike yet but if I leave it set dry for a couple of days it sticks back up.

How do you remove check ball ??

If you are careful you can blow them out with air. You need to catch the parts as the air blows them out. put your hand or a rag over it when you hit it with an air gun. Carefully.

Spray some lubricant in there to keep it from sticking.
