My 1971 with HM300 pipes runs and looks like out of the crate
my 5th CB750 since 1970
2 new ones 1970 & 1973 restored 3 more
I think KOs prettiest but K1s have the best updates and best motor IMO
Upon further forum digging and looking at wiring diagram I’m now straight that K1 s did not have any starter safety lock provision

On my 1971 K1 my brain is getting fuzzy.....my bike will try to start if I hit starter button when it’s in gear can’t recall if this is normal for a K1? Lurched and Jumped ahead on me today when I stopped and restarted and I almost tipped over

Can you get HM300 reproduction pipes I thought Only HM341s were available ???
I too have a gorgeous 1971 K1 in Candy red it has HM300s that are fair to good the rest of the bike is pretty much pristine but HM300s flow and sound so sweet!

must be HM300 and not rusty or dinged badly just decent to match the 3 others
all other pipes are pretty good but small rust hole opposite baffle hole

My 1976 K 6 charging would work perfectly until 13 or 14 miles of driving then voltage would drop off to about 11 volts and battery would slowly go down and I'd head for home ,cool down and test everything all components tested to spec???rigged up voltmeter to my tank bag and duplicated issue...

Stock tires stock height but it takes lots of effort to pull up and to push forward,can't believe that this is stock setup,
King Kong would grunt too!
Rear tire only 1/2 inch off the ground when up,not easy access to see how overcenter stop is accomplished but I feel that shorting...
My 1976 K6 is very hard to put on the center stand and it seems to go back over center too far I have other Hondas and Yamaha's that go up onto the stand much easier and down as well

But with lower watts and higher amp draw make them blink a little quicker?
Blink rate still a little slow I like to really display my moves to the cagers so no confusion as to my making a turn
