Dont know if this will help but T keep an extra wire hooked to my ignition plug to put some power to my 77 when the switch loses contact,that wire turns on my green light & fires my bike.

Wanting to swap my 77 750 for a snowmobile powerd bike.

pulled the head,at least 2 bad valves.havent figured how to pull those out yet.

don't know if this will help but after the hundreds of times i had my 77s off i learned they only go on from one side & yes they are hard to put on. i am thinking of putting stacks on mine but yet to find out how to jet the carbs. if you lube them first it helps.

be4 i put my new towers on i need to know what the rubber plugs are on the top of the head on my 77 750 & if i can fix one that has a crack in it or buy a new one thanks.:banghead:

yes, i can fix it if i had the correct parts. i guess i messed up when i bought the tower, i didnt get the caps. i bought the cam for 50.00 its from a 76. i love this bike, just broke at the wrong time, 1st bought parts that wont work, 2nd thaught it would come with caps so spent rest of money...
