Where can I find boots to adapt a CV carb to non-CV heads?

Look on line for silicon turbo boots you should be able to find the angle you need and then cut to fit and clamp, they worked great for my late model carbs.

    Let's see your CB750

I thank that's the best way to build, garage built and recycled parts. One off parts make it hard to replace if they fail. In my opinion that is a true custom bike that you can ride every day, not just julery for your butt.

    Rebuild help

The tank can be used with some mods and wheels work fine but the tire size is to narrow for my liking

    rough running fix-it job

Try a little petroleum jelly on the mating serface of carb and boot this should help seat the carbs. It does sound like the idle screws are not in sink with each other.

1976 750K worth restoration? Need advice!

The cost in labor will kill any sale price or profit you want to get out of it, for something that sat for that long would need a rebuild ground up. I build custom bikes from finds like that and do it for the love of the build not for profit.

    1991 carbs on a 1980 engine

These carbs will crank this motor from idle to 9k in a heart beat, and cruz 65mph at 4k in 5th gear. No idle problems, no flat spots, no hesitation. They really make the DOHC motors run good. One thing to note is the exhaust is a 4 into 2 with flow through 2" baffels.

    1991 carbs on a 1980 engine

Okey I was asked to post some pics of the 34mm carb mod I did on my Bobber. Things to aquire; one set of carbs from a 1990 or later CB750, one set of intake clamps, 4 each 30 degree silicon tubes, and some card board. Make a templet of the carbs intake runner side with the card board, (this...

    Airbox vs Pods

I didn't need to change cables, however, my controls came from a shadow steed. But they are standard two cable set up. The stock carbs are 30mm the later year carbs are 34mm jetted up 4 sizes.

    Airbox vs Pods

I say go wit pods. The stock air box is restrictive to meet import standards. You do need to jet the carbs though, up 2 jet sizes to start. I sourced carbs from a 91 they don't have any vacuum lines, you have to get hold of some 30 degree silicon tubes for intake runners. But they run great on...

    New to the site

It rides great, I refer to as my comuter some call it the HD killer. I sorced carbs from a 1990 CB750 and jetted them, then dropped to a 35 tooth rear sprocket. It turns 4k rpm at 65mph, with a red line at 10k.
