My brother-in-law Joe has been fighting stage four appendix cancer and is recovering from major surgery. We set up the Joe Gouveia Recovery Fund last November in the hopes of raising $10,000 to help him with bills and expenses. So far we have raised $7,895. We are trying to reach goal by...
I have a 16" spoke wheel that came with my honda. Since it was a spare I thought I should hang onto it, but I realized I use all 18" stuff.
Not sure what it came off, but it looks just like the ones on my 75 honda.
Pics upon request, $20.

This is the second of 2 -1975 honda cb750 four's that I have. I got the first one when I was 19 after a friend and I hauled it out from behind a tobaco barn. He road it for the first year and sold it to me the next year. Its still in peices waiting for me to finish restoring it.
The second one...
Very interesting, I keep a 5 gallon bucket of carb soak with its own dipping tray. It works well, but every 5-6 years I like to replace it.
Not sure if the cost of buying the 4 gallons I use of carb soak can be compaired to an ultrasonic cleaner for the cost. But as I do a bunch of carbs it may...
Something sounds way off, compression, timing, floats sticking. With my wife on my stock cb750 we got around 50mpg. Just me crusing the highway to work the best I got was 70mpg. But that took a bunch of tuning to get that.
Flat aluminum engine paint, took it for a test drive, wow! Special thanks to DirtDigger for his imput on this. I have built many motors over the years but with the bikes this was my first. I cant wait to start the restoration on my other 1975 cb750. Yes I have a collection of these things!
The timing chain had been making noise so I have ended up doing a quick overhaul. Broke one piston ring, but other wise it went ok.
Will try and run it soon, so more pics to come.
Ok, now i'm confused. I'm going to cut off my old chain with a die grinder. I am looking at buying this chain from vintage.

Thanks for the info, I saw the ones on the vintage site but didnt know if I still needed the tool or not. Knowing this I dont need to buy the chain tool, just the non endless link chain with extra links if needed.
Hey thanks for the links, I was wondering what else I could do to sup up the engine some with out going all out. Didnt even know there were cams out here with that grind.
So as an example I could buy there heavy duty chain and press out a link so I dont seporate the lower end? If so thats what...
I'm getting ready to put my 75 cb750 engine back together and I'm down to deciding on a cam chain.
I had wanted to use a non endless link chain with a rivet link so I didn't have to separate the tranny (lower half).
But cb750supply is out of them and I don't see any on ebay so I thought I would...
