I had this same problem,so I had a machine shop make me a piston out of stainless steel. I took them a used one to go by. it cost a bunch but hey ,when you cant BUY it ,,,you gotta make it!!
just a thought, I NEVER use a master link on ANY 750 timing chain. its far too dangerous. the factory chain is a continuous chain for a very good reason!! sure its a bear to change properly,but in the end ,well worth it IMHO
:ok, my dilemma is this. i got a 74 cb 750 with a stuck engine. i have the engine out and on the bench. i poured marvel mystery oil in the cyls a couple of months ago, but no luck. any body have any ideas?? do share.and thanks!
I found on the NGK website that they offer a iridium plug that is a direct cross reference to the D8EA.its # isDR8EIX. im gonna put these in mine when I do my next major tune up. ill post my findings accordingly
