    Let's see your CB750

I'm actually making a king & queen seat for it this week. And it's getting a longer narrow twisted metal springer and spool 21". Will post more pictures after that

Hippie459 no sir it's a nos frame produced in the 70's for a sohc that was sitting in some old timers garage for 40 years. Crazy craigslist find!

Ditching stock carbs for 2 mikuni bs38's on a DOHC

Ok so I've had nothing but problems with my stock carbs. I was going to do a single carb swap to a Harley CV but soon came to the realization cylinders 2&3 would run crazy rich and 1&4 lean. Then I purchased a set of mikuni bs38's off a '74 XS650 for short money that had just been rebuilt. Found...

    Frame fit

I agree ^ if you're staying with stock frames just find a dohc frame instead. Save the headache

    81 CB750c cylinders 2 & 4 won't fire

I've had pods on my stock carbs for a while now without problems. I will try that with the gas / carb cleaner but it very well could be my boots. They've been through a lot of abuse with taking the carbs on and off. With that being said I'm also gonna do a compression test to see where I'm at...

    Frame fit

I'm currently running a dohc in a frame made for a sohc. I had to raise up all the rear mounts about a half inch to fit in the dohc motor because the clutch basket on a dohc is so much bulkier.

Could be sticking. I'm gonna pull the carbs off tomorrow and check further into it to see. But when I pulled off the carbs last time all I really cleaned was the floats because my cylinder 1 carb was dumping gas. I have pods and bypassed the whole vacuum valve on the carbs and ran the fuel line...

    81 CB750c cylinders 2 & 4 won't fire

I've got a 1981 cb750c. About a month ago I fired it up for the first time after sitting in my garage for 4 months over winter, had just done an oil change, and bought new plugs, it ran like a top. After that I pulled the carbs off to clean the floats, put the carbs back on today to run it and...
