Howdy All, I've got an '80K that runs great but is in rough shape cosmetically. I can pick up a '79 that has pretty parts. I'm wondering if the seat, tank and covers are a straight bolt-on application. Many Thanks.

Howdy, did you ever get this mod installed? I'm thinking of doing the same thing on my 1980 CB750K. There's a guy up the coast here in California that is stripping a 900 and I want to be sure to get all the parts I'll need. Thanks for any info. -Charlie

K.I.S.S. All I had to do was tighten the bands on the intake boots. Too much air. Viola!

Yeap, sure enough! I had done some carb work and tightened the boots down while she was cold. When I took her out to ride, the idle hung up around 4000rpm and didn't come back down. A surprising amount of extra cinching down n the straps with a hot engine got her running beautifully. Thanks...

It WAS the main fuse. So I think when I initially removed the starter a bunch of 25 year old powdery gunk from the spinny part lumped onto the workings and shorted out the main fuse. I pulled the starter apart, cleaned up the insides, reinstalled, wired-in a 30 amp blade fuse and viola! It...

Found this at a meth lab/junk yard in Riverside, CA. Surprisingly she is all there. No one took a wrench to her. All of her bits and pieces are unmolested. She's just been unregistered since '95. But I have bountiful hope I will restore her to her former glory before a road trip through Baja Me
