In the middle of a restoration and have (don't hate me) copped out for a gorgeous Yamiya tank and side cover set. The bike was a 3700 mile barn find in great mechanical shape but put up with the tank full of gas which completely rotted it. The bike had both side covers and emblems which I'm going to sell on and I want to verify that (hopefully) they are original.
Maxim Brown with stampings on the inside. The inside of the oil tank side is lumpy while the battery side crisp. There are slightly raised outlines at the locations of the pegs (which are all perfect). The few images I've found on the web look the same but I'd like the experts here to weigh in with some feedback and education for me if possible.
Any sage advice would be appreciated.
