I'm hoping that someone with a 1981 or 1982 CB750K can take a quick measurement for me.
Trying to determine if engine guard bars that I have for a 1981 CB750K will fit on my 1982 CB750C. The attachment points are the same, but it depends on how much closer to the frame the exhaust pipes are on a CB750C compared to a CB750K.
The tight spot is shown in the following picture which shows the right side exhaust pipe and frame member. The measurement I need is the space between the head of the engine hanger bolt and the inside edge of the exhaust pipe. This is the engine hanger bolt that runs all the way across under the engine to the other side. I've got just 1/4" of space on my CB750C, and I'm thinking it's not going to be enough. So, I'd like to know how much space there is in that same spot on a CB750K.
