Hello riders,

I'm getting ready to drop the engine in my '81 to do a rebuild. What size socket do I need for the one highlighted in the picture? (un-highlighted pic is for reference)

The largest socket I have is 21mm and the nut is bigger than that.

Thank you!

That is not a mounting bolt for the engine. That is the swing arm bolt.
Upon closer inspection, it sure is! I guess I need better lighting in the garage.
Do you happen to know what size it is? Definitely a relief I don't have to take it off to drop the engine.

The sizes on the bolt that you don't need to remove are; the head of the bolt is 22mm and the nut is 24mm.
