Proper way to delete the kickstand wire?? Help please?

Im trying to find a way to remove the kickstand wire without causing any problems ... i was hoping i could simply cut the wire and be done with it haha but ive been told it dosent work like that im building a 92 nighthawk 750 bobber and will upload pictures whenever i can figure out how to do so ... any information would be greatly appreciated thank you all!

No big thing there..............the yellow/blue wire is for the stand indicator light, the green/white is from the ignition unit, the green is ground. Tie the green and green/white together and the bike will run, leave the yellow/blue disconnected to disable the stand light.

how do u actually unclip the connector on it ive tried but cant

I have no idea but I'd bet there is a detent that has to be pressed down to come loose like almost anything now that looks like it won't come off.
