Newbie here, so please forgive if this is a stupid question, I promise i will learn.
Just became the proud father of a 76 CB750k. Mechanically sound, couple things required before getting the safety, but it runs. Question however, is that it seems the battery doesn't have enough omph to fire the starter consistently. I am trickle charging it and some times it will crank , other times nothing. To kickstart it, do I need to hold the start button? if i do, will it cause any damage to the starter?
