1981 CB900 Exhaust pipes on a 1979 CB750 L

Howdy folks! Forgive my ignorance on this question Will Exhaust pipes (End pieces) from a 1981 CB900 fit on a 1979 CB750 L?

By end pieces do you mean the mufflers? I guess it would depend on which model of CB900 as well. As far as I know, the CB900C had the same stock 4-into-4 exhaust as the CB750C, and those are welded together as one big piece so you can't detach the mufflers.
