Recommendation? The factory air box is toast. Will a larger jet get me there? Can I restrict the pod?

1991 nighthawk 750 with keihin carbs (4). I removed the factory airbox and installed "pods" I had the carbs rejected and it's bogging really bad to point of dying. The main jet is a 120 and the idle jet is 38 Need suggestions so I don't have to go .5 at a time. In addition do I need to change...
