I have a 18/43 on my 750c and it revs 5000 rpm at 65mph which feels awful high. been thinking about going to a 40tooth rear sprocket and see what I get! Has anyone done this to their bike?

I had the same thing, the rivets that hold the gear to the clutch basket were loose, replaced with a good clutch basket and the problem went away!
