Lol, curtains of rain are cool, dont happen alot here. Last month it was raining in my front yard but not the rear.....neat. oh the wokds are glorious here especially hiking in the national forests, HUGE trees and just endless it seems. I have 5 acres but am surrounded by timber, until they log...
Great info, thanks. I had thought about running unis, thought breadbox type box might look neat, we'll see lol. Washington has some terrific rain and it goes everywhere, pods on my previous bike was awful in the rain so I figured I should do my best to keep dry. Interesting about the coil...
Thank for the info sir. I was thinking backwards about sohc and dohc. I have the factory rubber pieces, read somewhere they are important! I'm In Washington so I want a waterproof box. Gonna mess around designing today, not sure how to make a big box sexy lol.
My bike came with pods...not a fan...I cant find a decent used airbox so I wanna make one. Problem is I don't know what the inside looks like to replicate it. Any help with dimensions and pics of the inside would be awesome. Thanks
Okie dokie...let's retry....the p.o. has the return spring hooked to bolt screwed into the carb holder.....is there a proper name for it? I am not sure what else is missing or wrong. It is rideable but the spring is bent. I cant seam to load pictures...maybe it's my service? I'll try again...
Am in need of a pic of the assembly for 74 cb750 so I can figure out what the p.o. removed, lost, whatever.... normal parts Fiche isn't clear enough for me. Basically need a pic of the carb holder with everything installed except the carbs....thanks.
Need to replace some rusty tubes.....are there any diagrams that show the radius and frame tube lenght, etc? It will go way faster than my math lol...I though I saw one and did not bookmark it. Mines a 74, not sure if that matters...thanks!
I may not repair my 76 gl1000, but I want the wheels for my 78 gl1000 project. Thst would leave me all the front to swap except for the wheel. I've read a bit but kinda confused myself on whether the cb750 wheel is compatable....will I need to get anything else? Thanks!
I was just told pretty much that...we are now assuming it has been modded somehow and that it is a 74 that was inspected and licensed in 78. So unless I find strange this when I tear it down wee sticking with that lol!
Nothing there I can see yet, sanded a bit, should have seen it by now I would think. There is that tag on the arm, maybe that's the legal number to replace the original??
Hello all, got a cb750 from a buddy today, he said it's a 78, I cant find any markings on the frame except a small tag on left frame lower. ( will show in a pic when I'm in a better area.) The motor if I read it correctly is a 74. Its beat up but rideable, needs some love though. First off I'll...
