81 F model case savers I have a set of case savers off of my ''81 F. One side is "broken in". There is no hardware, no bolts. Use existing motor mount bolts. I suppose they could be cleaned up. Some pics:

I've had a chance to look the bike over a bit and came across a couple of melted/worn plug in wiring connectors. Are replacement plugs available or do I just rewire each circuit individually? One is on the starter relay switch and the other is adjacent to the battery "door", leads over to the...

That's funny...I was in the auto parts store today and saw the gallon jugs of Seafoam on sale...I'll let ya know if the Honda improves or not.

So one ounce per gallon is recommended per the directions , two ozs. per gallon if really cruddy. I'll give it a whirl. 6.6 gallons of fuel incl. reserve on the F model (5.3 main/1.3 reserve) so not quite half a can of Seafoam per tankfull...thanks for the input.

Thanks for the info. Just went thru the carb manual, pretty thorough, explains the mysterious CV carb. Earlier I had come across the similar carb bible on the GSResources site.

New member, have seen numerous references to folks giving Seafoam a try on carbs that have been sitting/gummed up. Saw several YouTube examples, drain the carbs and put Seafoam in overnight several times to dumping a whole can in the fuel tank and riding the bike. Looking for some...
