The picture where I put one on top of the other might not be super exact. But I traced both on paper by lining up the holes for the fork tubes.

When the 2 clamps are lined up, the holes for the fork tubes line up but the center hole does not, just barely. Should this not be an issue? My 71 cracked on the left fork hole.

And it didn't fit. The listing said it was compatible but the holes aren't matching up. My fault for not having done the homework but now I'm trying to figure out if I A) Waste time trying to find a decent used 69-72 clamp B) But a NOS one on ebay for 250+ or C) But a slightly beat up front end...
