All of them look like that. I put PB blaster on them, trying to get the floats and pins out of the last two.

Looked like good carb from the outside.

I'm build a small motor maybe 836 at the biggest with a K head cleaned up, small cam. I have round top and 1978 carbs. Just looking at the pros & cons?

There's only one person I know that had the patience and time to made that work and he is no longer with us RIP. It take a lot of work to get vacuum carb to work with pods. Years ago they had a kit that had different size drill bits for changing the size of the air hole in the slides.

Just got back from Texas with a trailer load of Hondas. Going to need more parts, but I'm not to happy about it my brother-in-law left them to me.

It may not be the seals at all. I replace the bushings on the fork tubes so the sliders don't rock back and forth on the seals and make them leak. If the brass is worn off they're worn out.

I think I'm going to restore my drag bike first and then one of my street bike.

Not sure how much you know about drag strips, but there are several clocks along the length of the track. The 60 foot clock measures from when you break the beam to 60 feet down the track. There are also clocks at 330, 660, 1000, 1320 (if quarter mile). it means that from a dead stop you went 60...

On my wheelie bar bike I ran 11:00 at 120 with 1.45 60s and I was 235 lbs. digger can get there.

You got it looking good! If you never used wheelie bars before you need to take it slow. the times will get better. I'm thinking low 11 to high 10 at about 120 when you get it all dial in.
