    finding running light wire

It's been a while since this thread was tapped into. I have a 76 CB750 SS that I've put a new/used harness in because the PO had modified a lot of the functions and clipped a bunch of wires. Tail light won't come on. The Brown tail light wire runs to the new ignition switch and there's 2 browns...

    76 CB750F SS headlight bucket

Bike came to me with a lot missing parts. I've got a 76 headlight bucket and I can't get it to line up with ears on the forks. It hits the front brake splitter on the frame and brake line to the grip is distorted. Man, what a mess of wires in that area. Any help would be appreciated. I just got...

    76 cb750 F

Thanks for that. The rear was stuck pretty tight but I was able to gently rock it out. There's no way to get a purchase on the submerged piston on the front. The brake looks as effective as an airhead rear drum.

    76 cb750 F

Frozen front brake pad or the pad seating (according to Haynes). The pad pried off. I'm not sure if the pad seating is part of the pad. The whole front disc system seems pretty primitive. I've heated and soaked the post seat with brake fluid. And tapped around on it to get it to move. It won't...

1976 750F brake pedal is almost frozen

I will do that. My oiling the shaft did wonders. It moves easily now. But cleaning the hard gook that's on it is better for the long haul. Clean up the calipers. Then move to the front brakes. It's been sitting a long time.

1976 750F brake pedal is almost frozen

It's a disc. It's where the shaft goes through the frame. Everything is disconnected except the big return spring on the inside. Maybe it's just gummed up. WD and oil is helping it move better but it still gets stuck...

1976 750F brake pedal is almost frozen

I'm working my way through a motorcycle I received from a friend that's been parked for several years under cover. I don't know much about Hondas. The bike was high-sided and then parked. I'm wondering if the rear brake pedal has maybe a bushing or bearing in the frame because it moves very...
