I jumped it. Starter works, will be replacing starter solenoid, Do u think the one in my k1 would work. It looks the same.

Brown is 1971, blue is 1975. 15000 and 21000 miles. I ride the 75. got it from second owner, he bought it from his brother in law in 77 and was 80 years old when I purchased it. He still had dreams of riding and was hesitant. I got it on the road and rode over to his house so he could see it fun

I checked the starter switch. when button is pushed it goes to ground. I checked solenoid- have power to the rear contact ( I believe it comes straight from battery), No fire going to the starter, even when start button is pushed. I read the forward pole (front of bike) it reads to ground.
