    Cool YouTube channel

There is a guy in New Zealand, his channel goes by Andy Mechanic. He has a darn good delivery, and intersting hints. Was checking the gap and timing on my CB750 Frankenbike Chopper, and was thinking I needed a dwell tach and timing light. Nope. He showed how to do it with a simple 12V test...

    Rejetting my Frankenbike...

There was a bogging down when you would throttle up before it would take off again. We just got the 125's in today. It is running very well. Still getting a bit of a drag but not enough to care about. This is very different from my old V-Twins. Wow. Added a couple new bolt-ons. New seat...

    Rejetting my Frankenbike...

Well, the jets that came with the rebuild kit were 115's. The ones that were already in it were 115's. Still trying to determine what is the best jet to use for this beast. Should I bump up[ to 120 or 125?

    My Frankenbike

I've been used to my VTX and Geezer Glide for years now...this is a whole different experience. The extended forks are a lot different. And small size is weird. But the amazing thing is how much power the CB750 has..

    My Frankenbike

I was late to actual street motorcycling. In my early youth I was pretty poor, and rode friends dirt bikes, and all my friends rode street bikes later. I could never affrod one as a recreational thing until; my late 20's, by then I was married, and it seemed my dream of riding was always...

    Rejetting my Frankenbike...

The gent in the picture is a friend of mine who is a master mechanic (can fix anything from large dump trucks to small 1000W generators), and did a great deal to assist me in this build

    Rejetting my Frankenbike...

Several years ago, I purchased a box o'parts of a CB750 chopper (true chopper. '77 CB750F frame cut up to rake neck, forks for the 750F with 6" longer tubes). The engine it came with is a CB750K with a set of '77 CB750K Keihin Carbs. Had to do a complete rebuild of the Carbs as they were so...

    Brakes and models

Well, if you read my intro thread, you know I bought a basket case for a hobby rebuild. The frame is a chopped up '77 750F, the front end I am unsure of, and the motor is a '76 750K. The front end was extended by the first person who tried to modify it into a chopper (it has about 4" extd...

    Howdy!

Just posting up as a newb in the site. I bought a CB750 Frankenbike as a basket case ($300), and am putting back together. Some parts are easy to find, some not. Most all the parts are there, but finding the right ones has lead me to join here and pick the brains of the knowledge base y'all...
