Im looking for a complete motor for my 1979 Honda CB750 DOHC. Would like a running motor but if not complete (ie, missing carbs), not a huge deal breaker. As long as it turns over and has good compression, I can work with it.
If anyone has anything please let me know. Im in the Minneapolis...
Sad sad day about 2 weeks ago. I was out riding and the bike (1979 CB750) was running fantastic and about an hour and a half into my ride, that consisted of all back roads, I hopped on the highway and got going then after about a mile it felt like the bike was starting to slow down and loose...
So about 2 years ago my bike suffered from a dead battery while out riding one day and turns out the rotor went south and I ended up replacing it. I will admit, I have not tested the regulator/rectifier at all so that will be my starting point here soon I think. The problem is, since replacing...
Looking for either side foot peg with the mount for a project so not looking to spend a lot of money on one. Just seeing what is here before I hit up eBay for one. Thanks.
Im sure this has been answered before but for the life of me I can find the info and im sure someone has answered it for me before but I was wondering, I can get a complete carb rack in great shape that are ready to go for a killer price off a SOHC CB750 (From a 77 if I remember right) and I...
Well, I got my CB running ok but now I am having another (possibly two) issue. When I am under a mid to hard acceleration the bike runs like a champ but when I am at a constant cruising speed it feel like its missing and only running on 2 cylinders but if I give it gas it will smooth right out...
I have a question, on my 1979 CB750 (Motor is also a 1979 as I have checked the numbers just to make sure) I was looking at carb rebuild kits and parts and noticed something odd that leads me to believe that these CV carbs are off an 80-82 due to the differences I am finding when looking for...
Well, I know I havent posted any progress pictures of this and as soon as I get all the pictures on to my computer I will post them in this topic.
But here is what I started with....
1979 Honda CB750 in an Amen hardtail frame. I got the bike almost as what you see here and rode it like that...
I am selling an original Amen gas tank with the flush mounted cap off my CB750 chopper. The tank is currently on the bike. The inside could maybe use a cleaning but I have not had any issues with it and have put about 6000 miles on the bike with this gas tank. I am redoing the bike and looking...
I have a Koso D55 DL-01S digital LCD universal speedometer. I bought it and decided I did not like how it looked on my bike so I never even hooked it up. The magnetic bolt for the sensor is missing (Dont know what happened to it) but you can get them online very cheap. The little set screw for...
Have a set of Chrome rear fender braces for a rigid frame. They have never been used/installed. I bought them for another project that got sold so have no use for them.
$45 shipped within the lower 48 states.
So last night I was out riding and I had shut my bike off and about 10 minutes later I went to start it and it was acting like the battery was going dead so I figured I would let it sit a bit and after about 30 minutes it fired right up so on my way I went. Well, it was running really odd (some...
I have a 1979 CB750 in an AMEN hardtail frame but what I was wondering, I dont believe the rear wheel is a 1979 and not sure what it may have came off of or if it even come off a CB750 at all as everything I tend to see reference to is all 16" wheels. The rear wheel on it is a 15" with drum...
Just thought I would drop in and say hello from the Anoka/Saint Francis Minnesota area. Just stumbled across this forum while doing some google searches on a few things
I will give you a little bit about my motorcycle back ground. When I was 16 I got my first motorcycle, a brand new (year old...
