Good thing. He's going to need it. Did a compression test and the R cylinder was at 90, L one at 150. Drained the oil and found some metal chunks. Pulled the motor and going to pull it apart and figure out what happened to this thing.
Well, my son got the bug as well. It's not a 750, but a 71 CB350K. About 9 hours round trip to get it. He's already started going through and getting a better assessment of what it's going to need.
There is not one on the bike I just got, but the dufus who I bought it from had partially disassembled it. I don't see anything in the box of parts that came with it that matches that description.
Picked up a basket case 79 cb750 last weekend. Pretty complete with the exception of the side panels and headlight. I'm sure I'll find a few other things missing and it pretty much needs everything. Still researching a few things, but I've been wanting to do a cafe style bike for a while...
