    drag pipe question

hey just a quick exhaust question about my 76CB750F, I've read a bunch of different opinions one way or the other about drag pipes, I like the sound I could get out of them as well as the look(I love the symmetry of a 4-into-4 setup) but from what I've read I could lose all by bottom end power...

    Making new oil lines

I'm not worried about making it fit, I know I can get it in there, just wondering how hard it would be to make it.

    Making new oil lines

I've seen guys with the braided stainless steel lines, is it hard to crimp that onto the stock fittings?

    Making new oil lines

Hey, I have a '76 750f and one of my oil lines has started leaking. I don't know which one is the supply and which one is the return but they're both old and I'd like to replace the both so that shouldn't matter. my question is how hard is it to make new hoses from the ones I have? Like can I...

    Clutch spline washer

I'll put up some pictures when I put it all together, here's a picture of the inner clutch hub with all the discs on, should there be more space for the pressure plate?
  9. B

    Clutch spline washer

I've got 6 steel discs including the double one and 7 fiber discs including the outer one with the wider tabs

    Clutch spline washer

    It's completely solid

    Clutch spline washer

is one of the steel plates supposed to be a double plate? I'm thinking maybe that extra thickness is pushing the pressure plate too far back and it's hitting against the back of the clutch basket. could that be the problem?

    Clutch spline washer

No it didn't work, I disassembled it because it wouldn't disengage when I pulled in the lever and it feels like the pressure plate isn't moving at all, like it's pressed up against the back of the clutch or something
  13. B

    Clutch spline washer

Then I guess I don't know what my problem is. I thought it was because the back pressure plate was hitting the back of the clutch

    Clutch spline washer

I have the spline washer, but with nothing behind it it falls into that grove behind the splines, shouldn't there be something that fit in there to hold the washer on the splines?
  15. B

    Clutch spline washer

here's the pictures, seems like there should be something in that grove behind the splines, hopefully someone can tell me what I'm missing or if I'm just doing something wrong, thanks.

    Clutch spline washer

Sorry for the confusion, what I figured out was that something was missing that was needed to hold the washer on the splines. Now what I'm trying to figure out is what it is. I'll try to get some pictures up later today

    Clutch spline washer

Hey guys, so I'm having some issues with my clutch. It's a '76 CB750f. My problem seems to be with the spline washer in the back of the clutch, it's fallen back into the groove behind where the splines end. I'm assuming there's supposed to be something in that groove to hold the washer forward...

    Rebuilt clutch

is one of the steel plates supposed to be a double plate? I'm thinking maybe that extra thickness is pushing the pressure plate too far back and it's hitting against the back of the clutch basket. could that be the problem?

    Rebuilt clutch

Sorry I think they got turned upside down somehow, but there they are

    Rebuilt clutch

I pulled it all apart and made sure everything was lined up right when I reassembled it but I'm still having the same issue, the whole clutch just feels like isn't frozen, like there's nothing pushing against the springs.
  21. B

    Rebuilt clutch

It's a '78 CB750F. I was reading somewhere that maybe I put the lifter plate on 90degrees off of what it should be, could that be the problem?
  22. B

    Rebuilt clutch

Hey guys, so I just rebuilt my clutch and I got it all put back together and now I can't get any resistance in the clutch lever no matter what I do. Any ideas?

    19" mags

Hey everyone, I just got a 1976 CB759F Supersport and I want to do a cafe style build, I've figured out a lot so far(mostly from reading all the posts on this site, thanks a bunch btw). But I can't find much info on wheels, I would love to 19" mag wheels front and back and I'm kinda on a budget...
