    Wiring Harness question

Question for the forum: I purchased what I thought was a 1976 CB750K last year and I am going to convert it to a cafe racer. After purchasing, I have found out that the engine is from a 1976 k, the frame is for a 1974. Given the frame and engine don't match, I have no idea what parts are for...

Replacing the clutch on my '76 k

Alright, so I am looking for anything '76 and older. I will most likely try to find something as close to '76 as possible. Do you know if the clutch basket from the Super Sport (F model) is interchangeable with my K model?

Replacing the clutch on my '76 k

Hey guys, I have a 1976 cb750 k engine (836 big bore kit) and my clutch has been slipping lately. Also, there was a chatter, almost rhythmic grinding sound coming from my clutch. When I took it apart, I found a crack in my pressure plate. I had that welded and the clutch stopped make the noise...

    Motorcycle from The Terminator (1984)

Hey guys, I was watching The Terminator with my girlfriend tonight because she had never seen it before. I have probably seen this movie 15 times, but tonight was the first night I notice what bike Arnie rides. I noticed it towards the end of the movie, when Arnie is going to find Sarah Conner...

what do people noramly do with the oil tank?

There are several different options. Some people will relocate the oil tank to the cowl in a cafe seat, you can build a tank into the rear fender, or you can fab something up that bolts or welds onto the back or front of the triangle. Benjie make a tank that bolts onto the back of the triangle...

    '78 passenger pegs on a '76?

Hey everyone, I found a set of passenger pegs from a '78 CB750. Does anyone know if these will fit my '76? The seller didn't post much information about them but I assume they will fit, but if someone can chime in that would be great!

    Will a 1979 clutch basket fit my 1976 cb750

I have the 836 big bore kit as well, which is why I am considering the upgraded clutch. I have read some in forums that it will make driving around town a pain in the @$$, stiffer clutch pull and what not, but if it fixes my slippage problem and makes it catch quicker then I would say that is a...

Help me pick an electronic ignition kit

Thanks for the reply! I am planning on doing a bunch of stuff this winter so right now I am just planning out what I want to do. At a $70 difference between the Dyna S and the Cycle kit then I will go with the Cycle kit if it is truly a better setup.

Pod filters on my '76 CB750

Picked up my bike today, went with the pods. I don't know if it is the pods, or the rejetting, or a combination of the two but the bikes performance is like day and night. She starts right up from cold, no bogging down (which was an issue before), and I notice a significant difference in high...

    Will a 1979 clutch basket fit my 1976 cb750

Thank you! Anyone know where to find a clutch basket that will fit my bike besides ebay? I found a crack in my pressure plate and had it welded as a quick fix, but I want to replace the whole basket this winter. I have a big bore kit and am debating switching over to a performance clutch, and if...

Pod filters on my '76 CB750

I generally don't ride unless I know that it is not going to rain. I live in central NC and rain tends not to sneak up on us. I met with my mechanic today and he again reassured me that there will be no issue with the pods, he actually said that the performance is going to be 100% better. He...

    Let's see your CB750

Got her about a month ago. Titled as a '76. I posted the VINs on one forum and was told that it was a 74 frame and 76 engine, also told that it was all 76, a bike shop near where I live told me it was a 75. I don't think I will ever know what it is, but I am happy with her.
