Same bike as OP, 77K. Thought all the 750s were finicky about the airbox. If not, im running pods!

So ive been trying to get the bike running and its been intermittent. Ive cleaned the carb three times now, however I just realized ive been testing it without the airbox on. No airbox, no pods, just straight carbs. So I was only really able to get it to idle and any throttle application stalled...

Should I change the oil filter twice or just the time I put in the good oil?

I bought the same bike last week. But it had only been stored in a shed for the last 11 years, not 29! Ive also managed to fire it up without the airbox installed but it runs rough. I did not change the oil/filter yet. This should be my next step Im guessing?
