Good advice amc49, thanks for that. I did notice there wasn't much thread. No doubt the head of the bolt will be lurking somewhere down in the engine, i'll need to find that too when its stripped.

I'm about to fit a Marving 4-2 exhaust to my CB750KZ - the copper exhaust gaskets just seem a tiny bit too big in that they dont fit flush against the head in the ports. The port has been cleaned and the gaskets are 45mm which i think is the right size and they pair up nicely to the downpipes...

After much head scratching i replaced the rectifier and hey presto - all is now ok! There was obviously an internal fault in the unit.

My restoration of a CB750KZ progresses well, however after fitting a new battery i turn the ignition key and the main 30A fuse blows. Obviously a short but everything looks ok to me, i've disconnected all i can, ie left and right handlebar switches, all the lights, starter motor, rectifier etc...

Hi - good to see another UK entry on here, not many of us about. I think you will be ok with no changes to the jetting, i did the same on a 1980 KZ and it was fine.
