Has anybody installed a 69-76 oil tank on a 77 F frame ? Im using a earlier gas tank on mine and want to use the earlier oil tank. Wondering if it bolts up/ fits before i buy one. Thanks for any info.

Acquired this 1977 750F from a friend. Was a good runner until a light electrical mishap about 4-5 years ago. Gonna make a stoplight racer/bar hopper out of it. Stripped down and simple. Gonna do a earlier model gas and oil tank and who knows what else.

Sorry i didnt list year. Fit 79-82 twin cam 750. Mine is a 81 750K, Looking for stock or aftermarket to do a 4 into 2 system on my project.

Looking for a nice non dented 4 into 2 headpipe for a 79-82 twin cam 750. I dont need mufflers. Im in Memphis , Tn.

Hmmm every K model ive seen including mine has a 17 wheel ?

Anybody put a 18 inch rear drum brake wheel on a DOHC K model ? Guessing i could use a SOHC wheel but i know it uses a bigger chain. Any thoughts ? :confused:

Whats the trick ? Ive done 15wt. oil with 25mm preload spacers and 10psi but they still suck. Springs are same length with only 11000 miles. What now ??? :banghead:

I hopped up a 750 and a couple of 500 triples back in the day. I was big on RD350s back then too. BIG FUN !

Right side.

Braided brake line, 15 weight oil and 25 mm preload spacers in forks, longer rear shocks, counter sprocket cover drilled, black Emgo headlight bracket, bobbed the front fender (cracked in the front) and swingarm spools installed. Lower bars and a twin disc front are next on the list.

Looking for a twin disc setup for my 1981 750K. Im in Memphis so shipping may be a concern if across the country. Let me know what you got. :cheers:

Because I LIKE THEM !!! Ive been building Cafes since about 1977 before anybody knew what they were. Im a member of the Memphis Ton Up chapter (im 56 years old) They were the original road racers. Unfortunately there are good and very bad attempts at them these days. Its a K model not a F. If...
