I recently got my CB750K3 on the road -- the bike was given to me last summer, and I've spent the last year fixing it up. I'm happy with the way it runs -- except for one thing. It's highly responsive at low throttle openings, but when above half throttle or so (main jet?), the engine bogs...

Is there any trick to removing the rear wheel bearings (at least one is bad) from my K3? Do I just knock them out from the opposite side with a hammer and punch?

My bike has the end zerks, but who knows what kind of maintenance this bike had in the 41 years before I got it . . . I ordered the bronze bushings from Germany that grepper recommended; I'll install them when I have the back wheel off to put on a new sprocket. Thanks again, guys.

Thanks. What material are the OEM bushings made from? Good luck with that K5! Are you restoring it to original, or customizing?

OK, thanks. Like I said, I've never experienced worn-out swingarm bushings, and I've had bikes with as many as 72K mile. But I did experience melted ones once -- when I sent a swingarm to the powder coater without removing them . . .
