The bike I ride is a cbx550 from 1983. I use it on summer mornings on the highways and byways of Lincolnshire. Believe me - it's a great bike. Good on acceleration and good on those twisty roads. And since I have fitted the front end of a cb900 (also 1983) it is more stable and an excellant stopper.
I have recently bought a CB750 from 1978 which is an american import (bless them Yanks) this bike is not so good on the twisty roads but is sure better and more stable on the motorway.
