    Measurement Request

Yes I am and yes they are. 224mm ≈ 8.8125" and they have 10mm threads at the end but get thin in the middle which is the 5/16" measurement I give in the OP. PS, thank you for your replies in my first thread, they've been very helpful while I continue to look

    Measurement Request

Hello SOHC owners, I was wondering if anyone had a loose set of headstuds and could provide the measurements of them to me. I'm trying to determine if they are at all interchangeable with the DOHC head studs. I doubt they are but nobody sells head studs for the DOHC. DOHC Head stud, PN...

Wanted - Wanted - Head studs for '79-'83 DOHC

I suspect the head studs are the same as the SOHC's longer studs, if anyone has a loose SOHC head stud they could measure to either confirm or deny this, that would be very helpful.

Wanted - Wanted - Head studs for '79-'83 DOHC

I'm in need of 3 head studs for my '79 750L on account of destroying three extracting them because I didn't remove the motor from the frame to do my headgasket. If anyone has any spares, name your price. The stud dimension are 8+13/6" long, 5/16" diameter in the middle, with 13/16" of M10x1.25...

    Head stud interchangeability

only one so far but i figure if I'm getting new ones, best to just replace them all. And either I'm completely missing something or you cannot search by part number on webike which is making it hard to find the front studs on their website but I'll find them eventually. thanks for your help.

    Head stud interchangeability

I'm not finding it on Webike, odd. I had to remove them to remove the cylinder head, it wouldn't clear the frame. Obviously removing the engine from the frame would prevent that from being necessary, but here we are.

    Head stud interchangeability

So I have encountered a problem it seems like a lot of people have, which is head studs seized in the block. in the process of removing them i completely mangled the threads on one and i need replacements. so i encountered another common problem, which is that nobody sells head studs for the...

    Steel braided brake line

So, I got my new line from Spiegler. I measured it to be about 39.25” which is great, glad they went a quarter inch over the measurement I gave. When I held it up against my stock line it was about 1” shorter than the stock line, but that’s on me for my measurement. Installing it on my bike it...

    Steel braided brake line

So, an update. I reached out to Spiegler directly and they were very helpful. They have sold a number of these kits so they were curious as to why it didn't fit on my bike. They asked for photos of the brake line and the fittings, which I sent them, and said they're going to be using the...

    Steel braided brake line

STG doesn't (as far as i can tell) let you order just a custom length line. They sell "kits" based on make and model and don't list the actual specs in the item description. I ordered their "kit" for 1978-1979 CB750 K just "off the shelf". I guess I'm gonna have to get in touch with Spiegler...

    Steel braided brake line

They say I can't return them because they were custom ordered! What exactly did the F model kit you got include?

    Steel braided brake line

I couldn't be? Or the kit couldn't be?

    Steel braided brake line

So I'm more confused than ever. Spiegler sells a kit for 1978-1979 CB750 K single front disc. that's what I bought. What I got is not remotely compatible with my bike. My bike has one rubber brake line that runs all the way from the master cyl to the caliper, with a bung on each end (all...

    Servicing interval question

Hey, I'm new here and so I apologize if this has been asked before but I can't find it in my workshop manual. What's the service interval on my airbox corn?
