I have a 1980 cb750c that has been giving me nothing but headaches since day 1. It refuses to charge
I have replaced the stator, rotor, and rectifier. The only think I have yet to replace is the brushes. It still won’t charge.
I’ve tested my rotor, it’s good at 5ohms, my stator wires have continuity as well as the brushes, however when testing the AC output of the bike at 3k rpm I’m only getting .2V max instead of the 50ish I’ve read I’m supposed to.
I’m at a total loss and am unsure what to do, bike in general are new to me especially these super fun old Honda charging systems. Any info at all would be appreciated
