Wiring Help Headlight goes out while breaking

Came across a strange occurrence today. After opening up my headlight.

not sure what I could have done but my headlight now goes out when the front or rear brake switch is activated. (brake light does turn on)

I've opened it back up and have disconnected everything not required for the headlight or rear brake switch. How do these two systems relate to each other that could cause this?

Would be amazing if anyone had any ideas

Strange one. Have you checked that all the wires in the headlight are connected OK? Remembering that black is switched positive and green is earth?
And unless you have an iondicator buzzer, don't connect the two brown/blue wires.
