Will an F2 rear brake caliper fit on an F1?

If you could get a hold of the spacer/carrier for the caliper you could find out . The F1 is one piece , yeah ? and the F2 is two pieces . I could have a look at mine for you tomorrow and get some measurements . I think the axle should be the same diametre , but who knows . and if the discs and there offset are the same , it should work

Thanks mate that’s what I thought the spindle hole is 20mm bore and 30mm thick and ctr between spindle hole and cylinder bore is around 125mm hole for torsion arm is 8mm.

The breakers that I bought my F1 from have got the mortal remains of an F2 which has been fitted with F1 wheels.
Although the F2 got trendy single piece pressed discs up front, the rear disc is the same part as the F1, and the part number (43120-371-000) suggests that it was originally fitted to the Gold Wing.
I can't see fitting the F2 caliper being a problem

The axle is 18mm and the caliper bracket is 27-8mm wide , the brake stay arm has a 6mm bolt . I`m sorry but I cannot get an accurate centre to centre of the axle to brake piston and the disc offset and diametre

Thanks for the info rather than messing about with anF2 caliper I’ve just pulled the trigger on an F1 caliper I found last night which is complete so with 3 caliper to play with I should be able to make up one good one.

I can't see what difference the spring clip will make to the braking performance as the pins are secured by the top cover, another example of Honda's belt and braces approach!!
