What did you do to your cb750 today???

Nothing gets by a good wife!
Just a thought you riders down south don’t know how good you have it. Up here in New Hampshire we are lucky to get a ride in April 15
Good luck hope 2025 is everything you hope it should be
Paul

Spent the morning starting the rebuild and cleaning carburetors. Never seen the inside of a carburetor but u tube and manual giving it a shot. With any luck this 1980 750 will come back to life . If not I will send it to a shop lol

I rebuilt my first set of quad carbs for an old Yamaha with Youtube, the Haynes manual and a lots of previous forum posts. Cleaning is the hardest and most important part, then, there's the synching of the carbs which I haven't quite mastered. Good luck!

Thanks but I seem to have a rattle after reassembling #4 thought it might be the needle from top puck don’t know. I will probably open it up again to figure it out lol

I tend to disassemble and reassemble parts three times (not on purpose) before I figure out what I missed.

Upgraded my starter clutch using a CB900 flange and Yamaha R6 bearing. Definitely sounds better when I hit the starter, and sounds more consistent.

Pulled the carbs off my 72 K2 to replace the inlet hoses.. what a b^&%d of a job!! They're back on, but not 100% happy, so thinking they'll come off again for a second try..
Good luck sir hope it goes well.
I’ve been working on these the last two weekends 🤞
Happy new year 🎆

This barn find has not been registered since 2011. Paid less than 200 for it did compression test (about 128) not bad next sprayed starting fluid and it ran. I am attempting the carb cleaning and rebuild 🤞worst case scenario I will send to shop to get done. Fortunately no major rush for this project I also own a 82 xj650 I drive daily (when the weather allows)

So the carbs are back together. Hooked up auxiliary fuel tank to bench test and no leaks I also checked the accelerator pump and nozzles and they squirt gas. Thanks to Sean,s manual and people on this site answering my questions. Without of which I never would’ve been able to get this far so thanks

Picked up a CBX fairing in really good shape over the holidays. The plan is to put it on my Super Sport. Need to find the right bracket to mount it on my bike. Been a scavenger hunt online to find little things like OEM screws for the windscreen, and such. I'm learning more than I ever wanted to know about Hondaline fairings.
