I just completed my first rebuild, putting the engine all back together. I have installed the camshaft at top dead center on cyl 1, and to my understanding is also top dead center for cyl 4 (please correct me if I'm wrong because it makes sense in my head but I'm not 100%), now I am getting ready to do the valve adjustment before putting the engine back in the bike. After watching a few YouTube videos, I'm seeing different things. Some are setting top dead center for cyl 1 and adjust exhaust and intake for cyl 1, exhaust for cyl 2, and intake for cyl 3. Then rotating 360 degrees for cyl 4 to be at top dead center again and doing the rest of the valve adjustments left. Then other people are setting top dead center for each cylinder they are about to adjust. Can anyone clarify this for me please?
