Hi everyone, looking for a UK wiring diagram for my 76/77 F1 which doesn't have the position lights in the front flasher lamps.
I've stripped out the wiring harness to check the buried solder connections under the taping as the tape glue has degraded and don't want any shorts under the taping, I've found quite a few places where the wire colour changes en route fron one end to the other, is this normal? First one I found was the green earth lead which goes from end to end which changed to green/yellow then back to green at the other end! I've redone it green end to end and done away with the joins so much better imo.
I've got a stock of the male and female bullet connections as quite a few were missing/damaged.
Found a replacement headlight which has the pilot bulb in it like the original which had a rusty reflector which was consigned to the bin, new one also has a halogen main bulb fitted.
