I've just got chance to take a good look at the tyres on the F1 that I recently acquired.
Kings Tire .
And tubeless, which hasn't stopped someone from fitting them onto the F1 spoked wheels with tubes and rim tapes.
Not sure if this is legal in the UK.
And even if it is legal, will these tyres cope with the weight and power of the F1 ?
Interestingly, one tyre has "MADE OF USA" moulded into it, the other has nothing.
Apparently they are actually made in China.
I'm thinking about keeping them on until at least I've got the bike running and riding.
Anyone got any experience of them ?

I doubt if there are any tube type tyres manufactured any more now that modern bikes with alloy wheels all use tubeless tyres, you'll need to check with the manufacturers of the tyres as some sre not suitable for fitting with tubes, something to do with the interior surface of the tyres causing problems with tubes.

Many thanks both of you.
I think that I may have been confused by tales of MOT failures due to tubeless tyres being fitted, probably untrue in the first place.
I suppose I'll have to make my own judgement on the King's Tyres safety.
