Recently bought a CB750K and I am having problems with top speed. I am turning it into a cafe racer(of course) it was started but never finished. Can not get above 50 in 5th gear.
I have bench synced the carbs and fine tuned them on the bike with meters. Starts and runs pretty well, just lack of power and top speed.
The bars were flipped and I’m thinking it might be as simple as the wrong length throttle cable or it also has the exhaust that ends in a 4-1 vert short, it ends before the center stand. Maybe an issue with the lack of back pressure.
